NPLH Railway Glitch???
This is directed at the Developers-
I've tried using your email but it comes back as undeliverable, so I am hoping this will get to you here.

I've been playing your game, "No Place Like Home", on Steam for several weeks now. And I love it. There is nothing more satisfying that "greening" up a world. But I am having a problem that is stopping me from progressing in the story line.
It is the "Fixing the Minecart" portion.
At first I thought I was having a problem finding the "railway scraps" because I have only two; I have cleared away all of the trash around Lilly, and still cannot find the third piece. However, the minecart at the top of the hill only asks for the bulbulator, which I have, and the green algae, and I cannot find that either. I know the algae is around Harold, and that they glow, but I am finding nothing like that anywhere in his vicinity.
What am I doing wrong? Have I glitched something? I do tend to be very thorough in my de-trashing. Could I have done something that way?
I was advised in the Steam Community pages that contacting you might lead to a solution. I sure hope that you can help me, because I am a completionist, and this is driving me batty!

maybe check out the Guide section. you find usually most if not all answers there.

the game is not really linear & you have lots of freedom, which ends up at times quite confusing if something is missing.
i would advice not to concentrate on the quest where you miss a thing but try to progress in any other quest. usually after some time thigs start to fall in place everywhere.

I only had 2 pieces and the bulbinator and fixed the minecart fine. It might be a glitch. i do believe I found the algae first.
The algae is located in the second area in The Village by the large lake behind Harold's house.
Go read through my walkthrough guide. It addresses this exact thing that you're missing.

Also, the devs have ABANDONED this game. They got it 2/3 of the way done, skipped the final TWO rounds of bug fixes, didn't bother trying to optimize it so it runs TOO HOT and has a tendency to cook CPUs and GPUs both, and it has a terrible case of "memory leak" if you play more than about 90 minutes in one sitting. So don't expect ANY response from the devs about this game ever again. They took all the early access money from this game, forced it into full release half a year too early, and then poured all that money into their next game which is built on the core from this game and includes a lot of bug fixes and extra features that were PROMISED BUT NEVER DELIVERED for this game.
