quest item problem - fyi

So I finished the main story quest, but kept playing to unlock achievements to collect posters.

After I finished the main quest, it showed the recycle icon on all quest items, including ones I apparently still needed... Naturally I assumed I was finished with them, due to the recycle icon appearing after I finished quests and had surplus items. I put everything in the recycler. Now I cannot unlock the sheep because I can no longer acquire the mushrooms required for that quest. A real bummer. Restarting my game for this really does not appeal to me at all.

Just a head's up for everyone else who finishes the main quest before all the side quests etc.

This happened to me too, Quality wood had a recycle symbol on it too early. Now I can't finish the deer building. I would recommend to anyone playing that you don't recycle quest items at all and rather store them just incase they are still needed.

I don't know the name of the mushrooms, so I can't advise on that one.

The workaround is to use the dev console to spawn the items back in.

Press \ (above the enter key) to open the console. Then type in "give qualityWood 10" or however many you want to spawn.
