Marriage
Can we get married? Are there other characters that have a frienship increase system?

Not in this game as it is at the moment. I honestly hope they don't add that. I'm playing this because I don't want to play games like that.

I also would not like that as an addition. Why get married in a game? Just slows you down

No game forces you to get married. Its an option for those of us who do enjoy that kind of relationship system. Wishing for it to not be included is rather selfish.

Why farm in a game? Why grind in a game? Why care for animals in a game? You could ask that for any other mechanic or gameplay option. No farm/building game has marriage as mandatory, it just is a nice addition for those of us who looks for more realism in a farming/village game.

The game is based on daily progression. You do not know ANYONE at the start. Why do you think marriage is viable in this setting. It usually takes month or even years to get to know someone so well, that you want to marry them. It is just not feasible in this setting in my opinion.

There are also tons of other games that specifically have the marriage aspect in them. Why does every single farming game need to have this mechanic? It does not.

I chose this game because it didn't have that.

Its a very common mechanic in this type of game which is way I asked if it was included also in this one. There are people who enjoy it, there are people who dont. If its included, it is an option so we both win. If its not included, then the people who wanted it loses interest. Also I dont care why you chose the game lmao I dont know you, I just asked a question.

Most farm/building games are based on daily progression and marriage is very feasible. Just asked if there was a relationship/friendship system like in most games of this genre, its all.

Sort of true... most farm games are based on a much shorter daily progression. And therefore time passes much more quickly. In the same time, that a month happens in this games, you could play almost an entire year in other farming games. Therefore my original statement still stands.

It is the same system but with longer days. There are many games like that. If we can take the time to rebuild a whole village then why would it be less feasible to have a relationship (friendship or romantic) system?

You can complete the entire game easily within 90 days (3 month)... in my opinion, that is way to short for a system like that.
Also it would detract from the main focus of the game: Fixing the environment, cleaning up nature, and so on. This isn't supposed to be a dating game...

Some games have relationships, some games don't. This one does not seem built for that as the main character, Ellen, is still a young girl. A very Sassy young girl at that, but she doesn't seem like she is of the age to be perusing love. I am estimating she is close to 14? She seems more like the adventurer type, looking for trouble and cleaning up the world.
All the NPCs are also her elders by what looks to be at least 10+ years. Some say "Age ain't nuthin' but a number", but here they look much too old to be a match for Ellen.

"Some games have relationships, some games don't.", obviously. I was asking if this would one of the game that does. Thank you for letting me know that the main character is a child, though. Since I havent played I wasnt aware, she looks like a grown woman in the videos, hence my question. Have a nice day.

Cool, thats why I was asking. Also RPGs or farm/crafting games are dating games, and friendship/marriage is still one of the many possibilities in the gameplay. Different genres.

Both genders are playing this game and Ellen is just an avatar reflected from a dev's eye.

Male and female players don't always want the same thing ... the way it is.

Its going to be a struggle to add Sandbox to this puzzle/quest game let alone other things.

Player strength is in variety BUT you are going to have convince the devs of that.

Just a thought: 'No place like home' is primarily the devs game ... we are just minions.

(i. e. players programmed from afar)
