Locked Door in the House?

Hey everone! How do I open the locked door in Grandpas houese? When I'm standing in front of the door there is an option to "remove" the lock. When I press the key some kind of hammer appeares. But it is only floating in the room. Do I have to do something? Do I miss something?

you will be able to open the door & more of those with the house expansion which are several quests from the architect Frank. you have to open up Lonely Hills first, that's where Frank is.
