stuck in the 3 desert lakes

I filled the 3 desert lakes and it keeps telling me that I have to fill them, any idea what to do?

I basically just filled mine, plants pop up when it's done.

There's a control panel that needs to get fixed after you find the control panel parts. The control panel isn't popping up for me, though, so it could be a bug. I've encountered a couple of bugs where quest items or quest spots don't show up and if I had to guess it likely has to do with the fact that I cleared most the areas prior to bug fixes or the full release, so I'm guessing starting a new game would fix the issue, but that's somewhat disappointing given how much time I and others have probably sank into our pre-release files. Sorry mate, game is still bugged to all get out and you'll probably need to either restart or cross your fingers they patch it properly.

For me the lakes didn't fill up until I hit a specific spot in the pit. Move the stream around until the end of it changes into a larger white-ish splashing animation. Then the lake will fill up after a while. For me it was very fiddly and took a long time to find these spots.

The first three lakes are not the lakes that you need to fill in this quest. The ones you need to fill are large deep holes in the ground. And you do like what the post above me says

Yes, like mirabiletemporis I found it extremely fiddly finding the right spot for the pit/hole to start filling with water. Once you get the right spot it starts obviously filling with water - if it doesn't start happening, try moving around the edge of the hole and aim for a different point

Fluffy Reap3r - for me the control panel didn't appear until I pressed a button very deep in the construction section of the last desert area (with no obvious effect at the time). I think that and the 3 timer button puzzle (and maybe another that I've forgotten) are all needed before the control panel appears in the corner next to the emptyish canal.

Thanks to all for helping. Yes, the lakes are one and the second are not lakes... they are holes and you have to find the right angle to fill it

Can confirm as I just had this issue.. it's just the three holes and as was noted, fill it with hose and move around until you get the "splash" even tho its mid-air. Fills pretty fast. Less than 1/4 tank of the largest water tank so if you go past that, you did it wrong. :)

I had the pipe fixing parts and thought this is it.
Now i have filled the holes with water - and it worked just fine.
Finished the game qiuck after that - and now waiting if more content will be filled in this game.
Like for what the glue is needed in the shops
