Kinda Disappointed in the Ending...

I feel like the Sunken City should have been as large as the other levels, and I kinda feel like it's just a "We have a release date just submit it" Kinda thing. I hope that with the continued updates you flesh it out. I don't want to add spoilers, but the ending was just so... cheesy and bleh. We got more out of who the characters were from the other NPC's then we did from the characters themselves.

I love the game, don't get me wrong. Just the ending was not up to par with the rest of the game, imo.

I would love to see a lot more done with the Sunken City zone as there is so much there I would love to explore, like the Light House, and maybe even have another farm there for Ellie as her own kind of thing. There are so many things I hope we see in the future as I adore this game and would love more of it, maybe even some DLC.

I agree. I was so looking forward to the Sunken City, then was like meh....that's it? I still enjoyed the game very much.

I can not express how much I adore this game but I have to agree. I went through the final area in less than 15 minutes and I have been looking forward to more content for two weeks now. I was very very underwhelmed. I can't say more because I don't want to spoil but I would have enjoyed more content and level length in the final chapter.

Same the ending seemed very anti-climactic. Was expecting a big battle or something.
The rest of the game's story was well fleshed out but yeah it's kinda meh I'm sorry to say.

When it ends is grandpa supposed to pop up on the farm? like its indicated that you'll see him again but I can't find him.

Can we see the sunken city expanded is that possible? The super chickens made it way too easy.

I was also very disappointed with the ending. We waited all this time for a 10 min zone. I hope they are reading this. Surely they are planning more story. Wow why even release it if that is all there was.

I am recording the game for my youtube channel and there is two things I noticed. One, there is still the shortcut door in the shortcut tunnels for what is clearly a city door. A detailed "shop" door. And two, the original door from one of the earliest access versions, over the bridge is still there. (Past Mark). I'm hoping this means there is gameplay for the city, but they rushed this version out to give it an ending to meet their deadline.

Yep, considering the gameplay in the rest of the zones.... that was, quick.

I just fast traveled there from the world map.

I was mostly disappointed in that I hadn't completed everything, and was surprised that i was offered to end the game or continue.. I would rather get to the end off the game when the game is finished and not half way through. I still have cleaning up to do in the lonely hills, make the Deer house, get the Bubulator. I still have to get the feathers, and take all the crops i can grow to the other gal in the Frozen hills. I haven't even fixed the railway cart yet.. So was very surprised i could end the game when i feel like i'm only half way through.

Through the desert after completing the quest for the fancy lady in the desert.

Yeah i didn't even know i was playing the ending until i got the option to keep playing or end the game, spent a total of like 3 min in the sunken city and i explored everything.

I agree. Sunken city was a HUGE disappointment. Is that really what we were waiting for? I figured it would be a huge area, bigger than we've experienced with far more content, which would introduce new crops, new animals and new skills. Nope, it was short, easy, and boring. They would have been better off leaving it out of the game.
