Fixing the rail cart

I repaired it up on the mountain peak, but it asks me for items I do not have and cannot find. Something that has mushrooms in it, and what looks like 5 seaweed. I checked the beach and around the lake, but cannot find seaweed. The other thing looks like something I encountered earlier, mushrooms that help you clean / purify things. Any one give me a hint please?

The 5 seaweed looking plants are in the "village" area where the pig man Harold and the fox den is. You will see them "glow" to find them.
Then you get the "super bulbanator" from Rudy... he is located on the other side of the gate/door from where Harold is.
Once you place the bulbanator on the railway cart, you will need to walk around the cart to push the red button on the other side of it. Once you do that it will melt the big frozen block of ice that is in the Frozen Peaks area in front of the chemical plant where Lilly is standing (I think her name is Lily) and the mushrooms that Lily wants you to find are on the other side of the frozen block of ice that is now melted... in front of where she is standing.

Thank you very much. Yes, I did look around the lake where Harold is, and couldn't find them. The only Bulbinator I could find was the one I placed on the ground to fix the super bulbinator, earlier on in the game. Does it trigger Rudy to give another one to you if you collect the seaweed? I will have another look tomorrow, done for today. Cheers :)

Is the bulbinator still sitting in the big toxic hole? Or is it sitting in your inventory?
If it's still sitting in the toxic hole, you might have to go back to retrieve it.
If it's in neither place, Rudy may already have it. If it's in the hole and you retrieve it,
go to "Rudy"... he should be past the gate/doorway of the toxic hole as you are heading back, (he would be on the right), and if he has it he will give it back to you. I think you DO have to have the "sea weed" in your inventory to get him to give it to you.
Rudy is also on the farm, and in the "Village" as well, but I am not sure if you can retrieve the bulbinator from all those locations.... I got it from him in the lonely hills area near the toxic hole.

Talk to Rudy in the village, you don't need to pick up the algae first. You can do the quest objectives in any order you like. If you've placed the bulbulator in the Hole, I don't think you CAN remove it again or that it would count for Lilly's quest.

You can fix the first part of the mine cart before picking up the quest from Lily. But to get the algae from the lake by Harold and the bulbinator from Rudy you have to have the quest from Lily

I have everything to fix the rail car, but one thing.. could someone help an old lady out and remind her were the dang rail car is?!! i have spent hrs looking for the dang thing and cant find it.

Do you know the fast entrance from the farm?
Go through the doorway that has the frozen mushrooms on either side... once through,
go immediately to your left.
There should be a brown pathway leading up what looks like a steep hill.
Follow the pathway all the way to the top, and the railway is all the way to the back.

I just cannot find the seaweed / algae stuff - I have looked all around the lake where the foxes are and Harold, I have searched thoroughly and repeatedly, and can't find it. Any help? Where exactly is it found and what does it look like in the wild? Do I just click to pick it up, or do I have to hoover it up? Stuck.

Rodj71, with all the patches and hot fixes that have been put through lately, I wonder if it has affected the quest items in your game?
The sea weed is just clicked on to pick up, and where I located them was in the area where Harold is... in fact, they were easy to find because they were all "glowing".
Perhaps the developers changed that quest, and you should report it as a bug to them.
They may need your saved game to find out what is wrong.
