Funghi quest/Bulbunator

I have the bulbunator. Rudy asked for mushrooms. I've only been able to get three mushrooms. I can't proceed from here. I've cleared out the quarry area up to the point where only the purple indestructible items are left (I don't have the upgraded drill yet). Where can I find additional mushrooms?

I've been stuck on this for quite a few game days.

How many mushrooms does he want? I am at this area now and finding it more demanding but slowly gettting there.....

He needs 5, and the chests they're in should have a glow on them to make them easier to spot. Try under ramps and stuff, a couple were pretty well hidden.

I just finished it 2 lower and 3 upper level in shacks, the upper level ones were easy to find. I got five, just didnt read the question when it flashed past and couldnt remember how many......LOL.......Thank you

I've been stuck on this part for quite a bit, enough to even have someone stand behind me looking with me as I searched (for another set of eyes, if you will). Without any luck. Have searched under ramps/in between ledges (there was one, hence the mention).

Can the mushrooms be found outside the quarry area? I've gone up above the quarry area to the left and right of it.

I know which glow/suitcase to look for (I pick up all suitcases, just in case!).

This is starting to "feel" like it may be a bug/glitch.

I also found 3 more in the middle layer as well, so far i have 8 of them in cases

by middle layer i'm assuming you mean the outer perimeter as you go up from the very bottom.

Your post gives me hope that there are more out there, except that my area, as it is now, is barren of anything other than the purple stacks. (obviously excluding structures like the metal containers, etc.)

They were all in cases found some at the bottom and one under the ramp, then you go up a level I only vacuumed I didnt destroy blocks, so there is little huts, i found them mostly in those, then i went up the ramp again walking around the upper levels and stumbled across more cases, so I will go back and destroy blocks later, i just saved my place at the yellow tent then went back to do more later....... you have the round circle base then two further levels with the upper level being where the train track and tent is.....

Yes, that's where I am. I'm not finding any additional suitcases. Haven't played today (yet) will log in later today and hope I can find them.

I got the bulbunator and mushrooms to Rudy and put it in place in the pit, but the green fog is still there and he keeps asking for more mushrooms. So I found another mushroom and now the bulbunator is gone. It says the quest is done though?

Were you ever able to figure it out? I put mine in the pit, but yeah, Rudy is just asking for more mushrooms and I found 1 extra.

where do you go in the pit? I found a lader that lead to a concrete room but nothing else around it so i had to come out. It had a big metal walkway grate i had to walk up....

sorry for delayed reply. I gave up, the mushrooms are just not there. I didn't delete the game in case it is a bug and hopefully it gets fixed.

started a new game but haven't reached that spot in progression yet.

No it's still missing from the pit and Rudy is still asking for more fungi.

I have the same issue, and I created another because I found another 5 fungi. Though I've already completed the quest so I don't know why he is still asking for them
