Absolute gem of a puzzle game. I highly recommend it

Quick Description:
-Room to Grow is a very cute but challenging sokoban/snake hybrid. This game was a lot of fun and was much more challenging and innovative than I was expecting. There are a ton of sokoban games on the market, but there aren't many that mix it w/ snake in such a unique and clever way. There are three main biomes, each introducing a unique mechanic, and a few secret levels in each biome. This game is very tough but fair. I think the pacing and difficulty curve is just right, although it will probably be on the harder side for less experienced players.

Consensus:
-Solid Game (Tier 3 and makes up 35% of my reviews). It will take most players 6-10 hrs to 100% the game. I completed about 75% of the game in just over 5 hrs, but needed some help w/ the tougher levels. I think $10 is a steal for a puzzle game of this quality. My only real complaint is that it's a little basic in terms of modern features. There are no achievements, there are no trading cards, and I do wish that the 3 biomes had been broken up into 4, w/ one more mechanic added. These are very small gripes, in what was an otherwise really fun and challenging time!

Room to Grow is a cute puzzle game about a growing cactus pushing other small cacti to their correct places.
You can only move following the lines on the grid and the cactus extends like Snake. You can also move into certain walls containing grid lines : if you have the space to do so, the entire cactus will be pushed in the opposite direction.
There are a few other details but that's the core of the game.

And it's hard. The majority of the game is normal but there are some insane difficulty spikes. I spent a LOT of time on a few levels, it reminded me of Cosmic Express in which you also have to find precise but sometimes very frustrating paths due to the numerous possibilities. The moves are also kind of hard to predict this time, as your whole cactus has to be pushed several times. But with the correct global idea, some tries, some adjustments and a good dose of perseverance, it's not impossible. You'll also have to completely switch your approach sometimes, some levels are good at making you think you're close when in reality you locked yourself since your third move.

Room to Grow is a very good puzzle game with nice unique ideas. Good for people who want a mostly chill but clever game, and also good for people who like to torture their brain.

A wonderful combination of sokoban puzzles with path-drawing, and delightfully charming.

I don't even LIKE puzzle games and I found this incredible, the difficulty is perfectly tuned (at least for me) so that you have to use your brain, but the possible moves are just finite enough that it doesn't feel hopeless or frustrating
none of the puzzles made me look back after solving them and think the solution was stupid, or that I brute forced it, or just had a lucky guess. the holy grail of puzzles is making your player actually feel like they were smart and figured something out and every puzzle past the early easy ones gave me that feeling
good amount of creative spins of the formula too, new mechanics are introduced in ways that fit very naturally and intuitively
really charming and cute artstyle too, although that's obvious if you just look at it
REALLY looking forward to more from this dev

This is a great sokoban puzzle game, the mechanics are fun, reminding a bit of Snake, the difficulty is good and the art is nice.

Excellent hardcore puzzle game with very original mechanics that vaguely resemble sokoban but are much harder to reason about. Decent graphics, great controls and usability (the lack of controller support would be my only complaint), genius level design with a small and simple set of rules but devious puzzles.
