Hey guys! I think it beats on the intention of the creator of the game to give out the solution to these kind of puzzles, I also figured it out. What I ask from Jardar was to add a few clues to these puzzles to make them a bit easier. I know everyone should be able to decide whether or not to take a look at the solution but I also think that being it a new game it would be great to give people time to figure this by their own.

i believe you are right. I edited my post with a spoiler warning.
it took me a alot of tries, so i believe clues will help.
maybe the side of the picture could be color-coded (rainbow?)

@Lorduz, with the spoiler warning, is it better ?
If it is still too 'obvious', i am happy to take down my post :D

I wouldn't write this post if i thought that it would be easy to know what you should make in the puzzle, if there was clues it would be better, i agree.

Not everyone wants to play a game as design intended. Esp, in this case, from a game that is not puzzle focused, at least for me.

The hint is the achievement picture, it shows how it should look

thanks for sharing this solution! i understand thinking the fish part is developer's intent and you should figure it out, but the outside is just arbitrary little bends haha. it was very frustrating and i don't think that was the developer's goal either.

I actually appriciate a spoiler we can choose to look at. I gave up after multiple tries. The puzzle was too hard for me to want to complete it. lol

I completely share your opinion here. What got me struggling on this is the frame design. Having a frame so irregular makes no sense to me. If the frame was at least symetrical it'd help a lot. My guess is that they did it that way because a regular frame would make it too easy to solve, maybe? In that case, adding another line would just make it a bit more complex... First time in my life I looked for a hint cause I was just sick with it.
Also in terms of game design, letting us confirm our final answer would help too, cause the second you put the final piece, it resets if not good.

What happens when you solved that puzzle, do you get any loot? The picture you posted is far too tiny to see it. And yes you can get different looking fishes, but seems I never got the right one, because nothing happens, the puzzle pieces move, that's it.

There's a treasure for solving the puzzle. Head to the left, tail to the right, light parts up, dark parts down. Edges are bit tricky. The fish is lit from the upper left, so the edges are lighter on the upper and left parts.
The different fishes you made so far may look pretty, but were wrong. The parts are moving to reset the puzzle ;-)
