Iron is near impossible to find

Does anyone else have this issue, I get a ton of copper, no iron. I have found 4 my entire play so far.

You can buy it at the city in the north west

Dont buy it or go mining for it look for floating crates in the water, kill pirate type ships aswell they have a chance of dropping the ingots themselves and not just the ore

Iron at the beginning of the game was a problem for me too, because the caves to mine them require bombs to open their entrances. Which is also a problem to get at the beginning of the game.

The best option is the city of miners, where you can buy ready-made iron bars. Which is in the top left corner of the current map.

If your talking about the doors with boulders piled up I front of them you can break them with 4/5 swings of your pickaxe u don't need a bomb I don't think I used one my entire playthrough

farm low level battles, or just battles in general, save $, go buy the iron from northwest city place for 3k per, $ means nothing im like 300k just floating around always

It's weird as you can mine iron but can't smelt it into bars

What do you mean? There is a smelter attached to your house, and you can build more right off the bat.

ive got like 15 as most just by smelting ore
