A fix for troubles with launching Last Train Home

Greetings Legionaries,

We're reaching out to share a potential solution for the challenges some of you have encountered when launching Last Train Home. We're pleased to announce that on Steam, you now have the option to start the game using 'Play with DLSS Safe Mode for older graphics cards.'

This option enables you to run the game with the command parameter '-ngxdisable,' effectively disabling the Nvidia DLSS plugin. This adjustment addresses startup issues that may arise with certain combinations of graphics cards and drivers.

before the update, I stuck at the loading screen, now after the update, the laptop keeps asking me allowing the game to be played, and it just like that and I can't even get to the loading screen. What should I do now ?

Hi, from the description, I'm not sure what exactly the problem is. You could try to verify the files.

Havent played since new update, gone from getting 100 fps to 2.. literally unplayable and save is three quatres through the game..

I still can't play the game. The User control panel still reappear, asking for permission to allow the Train.exe file to make a change , and no matter how many time I choose YES, it will pop up again and again. I already verified the file.
What should I do next ?

Hello, I'm sorry about your issues. Did you try to run the game recently? Can you try it again? If the problem still persists, report it to our Redmine and provide us with all your logs and save files, please, so that we can take a look at what's happening.

I tried to start the game from all three options...GAME WILL NOT START!

This is BS...I reinstalled the game, it played fine. Upon trying to play it again it won't go to the start screen.

the game does not start on AMD apu with any options

Using the new option allowed me to get through the initial loading screen but it hard freezes after that, it's completely unplayable.
