The Cat Story Pacifist challenge

Is this even possible?

I'm trying to get the optional challenge Pacifist in the Cat Story mission. Naturally, I choose the Flower squad.

After detonating the explosives, I have one soldier grab the box. The others are throwing smoke grenades and sleep flasks trying to distract the enemies. However, the box carrier is so slow that the passageways to the exit collapse before she gets there.

Is the collapse random and should I restart? Or do I need to go through the pump area? There are so many enemies there that it seems impossible.

I appreciate any advice.

I was able to complete all the missions. This is the most difficult of all, because it requires many attempts. I think that a lot of soldiers should die in the collapse, but it seems to be buggy.
As a tip, there is an enemy grenadier on some scaffolding at the top of the map, I would sacrifice a soldier for the grenadier to drop bombs and kill his own comrades, but it's not easy. It is to go trying with smokes and sleeping them, until in some attempt it is achieved.

It is a little big buggy mission, but it is possible. It was hardest part of DLC using sleep flasks, smoke grenades and hope that will not bug and mine collapse will kill some of enemies.

I'm going through it now too and it's just torture. Until the moment of detonation I still somehow manage with flasks and smoke grenades, but how to carry the cat I do not understand. Stuck on this challenge for three days.....

I just checked for the sake of interest: if you fix a road and bring down a cart with explosives, it doesn't count as murder

It took me many saves and bug, problem is that when you save / load game it changes enemies behaviour, sometimes it is normal, sometimes they stuck, sometimes you just need to load few more times.

that's too bad. I will never sacrifice a solider for any purposes, this is not Battlefield 1. Everyone just wants to go home
