Thinking of "Transarctica"

Does anyone else remember "Transarctica" by Silmarils?
I was always hoping for a remake and I have to admit that this game looks similar at first glance. Okay, the train isn't a mega train and there are no mammoths, but when I saw the screenshots of the armed train at the snowy landscape and the soldiers, I couldn't help but remember "Transartica".
Has this game any similarities to the old gem?
