Game is stuck on the loading screen,

Great game, but when I tried to play it yesterday and today, I sat there for around....20, 25 mins on the loading screen, eventually just ctrl alt deleted.
Reinstalled it, twice, on different drives no less, purged the old files, and still doesn't work!

I've got a 4070 TI, 32 GB RAM, and got a new harddrive. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled again, reinstalled again, drivers are updated to newest settings. and it just gets stuck on the opening loading screen. Both on a SSD and HDD.

Reopened it today...10 seconds after opening game it starts working.
Whatever Czech magic you used, it worked! Thank you wery!

And please, do you remember if you were running other apps in the background (and which ones) the first time you tried to run the game?

I had discord running the first time, and then turned it off.
Second time I tried nothing at all except steam and this! Need me to send specs over?

Hello, I'm going to share a possible solution that worked for one of the players in case anyone else needs it:

If you encountered this problem, try running the game with the cmd parameter “-ngxdisable”. This will disable the Nvidia DLSS plugin, which can cause startup issues on some combinations of graphics cards and drivers.

Right-click on Last Train Home in Steam > Properties > General > Type '-ngxdisable' in the last line > Start the game
