Better Dead Than Red?

I went to the side objective "Better Dead Than Red" which needs me to kill the garrison and the officer. I went there, killed everyone, but it still says that it isn't completed... I literally covered like 20 blocks killing any bad guys, So is this just glitched?

I couldn't find the officer either. Looked everywhere, he just isn't there.

The thing here is - as soon as you are spotted, the commander flees. The mission doesn't fail but so far there seems no way in completing it once the target fled (he isn't using a normal flee - it seems to be scripted as he isn't returning to his "post" once the aggro cooldown is gone).

What I did is reload, take 2 scouts and issued a critical shot on the commander and the nearby scout. That way I could complete the side mission.

Hi, the officer runs to the square that you are supposed to take over and stays there together with the enemies, so it should be achievable when you clear the area.
