Cheat Engine for Money?
Hey, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but curious if anyone has tried to change the resource values via cheat engine?

I'm able to find the values with 4 Byte but then the numbers won't really update when going back to the merchant for example. Wanted to see if anyone has had luck figuring this out, thanks!

I didn't even know this game had a cheat engine. I knew about things like We-mod but I didn't know that it worked for this game

you need to be at the merchant and have its window open, then after first scan, you buy one item, and after the second scan you should have it come up, it shows up after second scan for me, 4 bit, exact value on both scans.

The merchant approach actually works on everything, not only money.

something odd about the money I thought. Why even have those other train car options at the first depot when you will never have enough money to get any of them.

So many of the merchants in the part selling wares you can't afford seems rather pointless. unless i am missing something.

You need to sacrifice to save up money by selling resources. ofc u cant just get every cart on the market, even ur engine wont be able to handle so many

I meant more, at that first train depot you will never have enough money even if you sold off every extra thing you have. Farther on i can understand saving up money.

is it meant more to show people what you can have. Just seems silly as is.

It's 4bit value, simply sell soemthing for it to update.

Besides, most are useless, like Kitchen car, which drains your already britle food supply to create, lets be honest, mostly useless consumables, Workshop car, is going to be useless as soon as you run out of gunpowdr, which is next 5 minutes, so the only option is the hospital car. Which costs 14k, which means selling either weapons, ammo, so things absurdly expensive, logically, given the civil war era, just for 1 car.

I tried this, but I wasn't sure what to do. I tried scanning with a value of 2100 (the amount of money that the merchant had), sold one thing (to change it) then hit Next Scan. I don't think anything actually changed?
