Soldier randomly left behind?

So upon reaching Penza, after i confirm to progress to the next act, it says "abandoned side quests" and frantisek Korb is said to be left behind. I did not abandon any side quests and the dude is chilling with the other soldiers in the passanger car. Whats up here?

I got the same issue with 3 soldiers.

That super gamebreaking for me i need to wait for a patch sadly ..

You probably missed that sidequest (quest that required abnormal number of resources to give)
that's why they were abandoned. Happened to me too because there is no quest indicator for that only text with side mission not even a marker on the map.

The only quest i got is to reach Penza

And i just noticed, 3 of them are avaible (with the cofee cup icon) but i cant asign them, so when i start the mission i left them.. Hope a fix soon.

This happened for me too when reaching Prezna or w/e. Super enjoyable game up to this point which has made me stop playing for now.

That might be good thing, less soldiers- less food needed. Also on one of the later maps you get tons new soldiers, so make sure to upgrade all your wagons

The only quest i got is to reach Penza

Its a bug atm soldiers get bugged out and left behind its game breaking hope they patch it soon idk how this got missed happens in every game

Same issue for me. At some point I notice Kamild Hadraba can't be recruited in to the squads, but it seems like he is busy working as Machinist so I didn't pay much attention. But then, as I reach Penza, turns out he is lost.

At some point, shortly before Penza I had a message that I am missing machinist and I have to fix it, and I just switched workers for that station but I saw no way to save the man.

He was rather important character since, turns out, he is the only guy with a survivalist perk to me and I only figured out that after I left Penza already. Quite frustrating.

This must be somehow a bug.
I'm on chapter 8 and another one left because of the side mission.
I've cleared every point of interest on that map...

Soldiers sometimes don't deploy correctly on the map, being stuck in T pose smewhere within the outside map walls. Unless you reload the level, they are gone forever if you leave.

Oh hey, I do remember one of my dudes getting stuck in T pose after using one of those in-mission med stations. That was a while back though...

I found out that its not always a T pose.
They could lay on the ground.

Literally just had this happen. When I reloaded the Red Camp Mission where I had him last, everyone was running to the exit except this character. He was just sliding to the exit like a weirdo. After he got back to the train his status was 0/0 and I couldn't add him to a squad again. Ouch. Can't even eat him.
