North or South Guide
if Going north seems like a epic adventure where you can earn glory and honor You are wrong it is more of a hellhole where every 1 hour you have to move or else you will be barraged by artillery so tip just go south

The game says it's safer to go through the north, and a lot of trains before us have gone missing in the south. You're not confusing the directions?

I'm heading north.
The only issue that i'm having is that i'm running out of space for my legionaries. I wanna save them all, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i'm gonna be forced to leave some behind aren't i? Been standing still for hours, no artillery barages have been called in on me so... you prolly switched the directions around :P

The real question is
Did he mean to or was it a troll or will he claim it was a trolling when he did not mean to.

Upgrade your wagons if you wanna take all troops. I took south and there are tons of soldiers to join you, also yes artillery barrage if you wait around too much.

Don't have enough wood to upgrade my infantry cart .-.

I took the northern route as well. Even with fully upgraded space in my 3 wagons I had to leave some soldiers behind.
I am having bigger problems with gathering enough food tho. They are all starving so bad lol.

The game says North is definitely the safer route while the South is definitely the harder route. I'm gonna take North and on my later replays take South. If you are just barely getting by, definitely go North lol.

I took south to be more challenging i guess
For those who took north, so whats different? is it really easier?
seems like only 15% of players took south :D

Since you go to south, did you see a lot of combat spot?
I don't see much in north route.

I chickened out and went north. Not because of fights, but I feared all those survival elements would make south far harder. I leave that for a later meta-gaming run.

I will definitely go to the south, it attracts me :-) North, only on the second playthrough ;-)

I just got done with the entire north (at the converging station at Omsk). I can't really compare it to South since I didn't take it yet but I don't think it was as easy as the game said. Not hard either. Plenty of troops to pick up along the way, gotta keep moving otherwise planes will bomb you, some tough optional 3 star missions you gotta save scum here and there but totally doable. I'm in a fairly comfy spot right now with supplies since I learned how to stealth so no major complaints.

Seems to be the other way around. I went south and I am swimming in resources. Combat encounters are a great source of loot.
