Opinion after 100% completing the game
So I finally completed the game with all the achievements to get there. Both on rookie and original difficulties. In about 10.5 hours. If it seems very fast for You... Well, I played the original game. so once You remember several tick (like that Cripple Nazi Support mission is actually on time limit or that You can kill the Traitor by dropping a grenade on him from the roof above him), the game gets a little easier.

So, was it worth it? It plays like original Commandos 3, and feels like original Commandos 3. so at least there is that. BUT... if there is one thing that ruins the experience, it's the bugs and one serious BS moment.
It feels like no lessons were learned from C2 Remaster, except from allowing historical symbol ingame. As the game had a lot of bugs. Once after Quickloading I got a white void, and only my Commando visible, in one level I discovered that exploding barrels can stuck you in one place, in Storm the Beach medpack randonly disappears from you napsack, sometimes enemy changes pattern so it hard to predict where he would go to ambush, once Thief didn't poison the bone despite being ordered to do so. And definitely not least, there is at least a 5-second in starting some cutscenes (like in Destroy the Warships) and with pretty much all the ingame soundtrack (best heard in Cripple the Nazi Support).
For for the BS moment. It's the guard mode, activated by X, You would think obstacles for you means they are obstacles as well. But no - I had way too many situation where the enemy was able to shoot at me, while I couldn't fire back because the guard mode decided my mean couldn't see him. And one instance I was hiding the obstaclem crouching, but the enemy was still hitting. YES, I said that - I was behind the cover, and he was still able to kill me. WHO PROGRAMMED IT LIKE THAT?!? How did that get past Beta testing?!?

So overall, this Remaster might be considered better than C2 HD if only because it's shorter. But the bugs and BS moments I mentioned above is what kills it in my opinion.

Medpacks vanishing in Normandy (or when shot once) was already an issue in C3 but Remaster's rookie mode seems to fix it. (Likely since medpacks heal full health and only one is auto-used when you're about to die while C3's medpacks healed barely any health and somehow the way the game auto-used them would waste most of their healing.)

Guard mode is also buggy in original C3, especially with the MP40.

the remaster should have fixed those issues even if they are present in the original version otherwise why someone choose to buy this over the original

The Rookie Difficulty fixes a bug where getting shot once depletes all your Medkits (due to them being instant used but incredibly buggy so it uses all 5 medkits on an injury that should only need 3-4.)

That and the increased weapon ranges for rifles on Rookie mode means I honestly think the game is more fun on Rookie mode than the original difficulty.

If this game is like C2 HD, then they're going to wait until the console version to release patches.
