Report a translation problem
BUT!!! BIG MINUS!!!
Endings of those quests a not translated! Like, you finish girls questlines, they say that they love you and after that nothing is translated.
Its honestly mindboggling, that in our era of free internet translation and basically every second person knowing english, develelopers couldnt spend 5 minutes to translate barely 1 page of dialogs. Amazing
But translate to English? Barely one page of dialogs, from their native language? In country where every second graduate knows English?
I speak and freely translate from 2 languages in my head, while my English is self learned. I been reading not translated visual novels, from Japanise via software. Translating is not hard.
Developers must have atleast one person in the team, who knows english. Its kinda required for programming, most of the time. They could ask them- "Hey. how to say "I love you" in English?" or something.
So, no. 5 minutes, is kinda accurate imo.
Besides, lets not forget that on Steam page, game/DLC advertised as translated to english. If you want to sell product, then finish it before releasing it.
So, No, Impossible, Not Even anyone can do it in 5 minutes.
Well, I don agree. Just to see, if I could, I translated some text myself, from photo, via Yandex translate. Spent like 5 minutes.
If you go to Russian discord for this game, they translated entire game to Russian, via integrating google translate with the game. Can be done by dropping couple of files into directory. It have mistakes, but you can understand the gist of it atl.
If some randoms can do it, what excuse devs have? So, no. But not gonna argue anymore.
Regardless, we can agree, that devs should not release unfinished product, no? I dont see, why we even arguing about it.
Would you buy story based game, that not translated in most important parts?
Finish game first, then sell it.
I'm not the person you're replying to, but I use the one detailed here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TaleofImmortal/comments/14u4oy6/autotranslate_chinese_mods_to_your_home_language/ And it works pretty well!
