@devs please fix version.dll so we don't have to delete it to play in the USA!

as the title says. This game will not run on my PC unless I delete version.dll in the game folder. It also seems to affect being able to use some mods?

2. Go to <steam>/steamlib/steamapps
3. Open file appmanifest_1468810.acf with text editor
4. Rename "installdir" "鬼谷八荒" to "installdir" "TOI"
5. Go to <steam>/steamlib/steamapps/common and rename game forlder鬼谷八荒 to TOI
6. Verify game files' integrity
or
Turn on the UFT-8 language supports in Windows setting
and Verify game files' integrity
These should allow you to play mods.

The upload process of Steam provide anti-virus scan and the virus reports you guys seeing are false alarm. Please kindly add it to white list so the game file won't be deleted.

How do people not know to enable windows to recognize the language. Its a simple checkbox in the settings.

After doing the first one, I did the second option (google is your friend). After restrating my pc, then running the game file from the folder rather than from steam, it worked. Thanks for the advice.

Not everyone knows as much as you do in some things. It would be nice to share your enlightenment with others.

How do the devs not know how to fix their game so that it works normally? Or are you saying that getting a working product upon purchase is now too much to ask for?
