Is there a point to Taoist Mind? Can it upgrade?

I'm just saying the game shows absolutely no indication that it will ever evolve beyond the 'perfection' of "Nameless" which happens pretty early into the game, usually by or before you even reach Foundation.

Is there any purpose to this system beyond the extremely minor stat buffs it gives you in the beginning? Can you evolve it somehow or improve it at all? I see all sorts of other cultivators with other variants of it and I just can't help but feel like I'm missing out on a potential feature. D:

When the level increases to the maximum, you can pass a seed to an NPC you care about, which will increase the NPC's strength. This is also related to the "Rewrite Destinies" that appear when leveling up. The version the NPCs use is much more streamlined than the player's, which results in far fewer options. The only Taoist Mind better than yours is Nameless - Holy, which unlocks the Swordnova skill. This is what I've observed in my experience, so take it with a grain of salt.

Is there any way to change ours over to that or are we stuck with Nameless forever atm?

I'm not sure. I know for a fact that NPCs can pass other Taoist Seeds between them. Currently the only confirmed way I know of is with a save editor or an in game editor. But the other Taoist Seeds are far inferior to what you have. If you are interested in using an in game editor, google "Tale of Immortal cheat engine table" on the fearlessrevolution website. On the last page you will find Trainer 2.5.3.4. Use at your own risk, although I never noticed any problems, I cannot in good conscience state that the file is 100% clean.

the Nameless Holy and Unique seeds are a quest reward from the Taoist Mind Pavilion vs Mindsnap temple questline, depending on your choices you'll upgrade your own Nameless seed to one of these two. The alternative to the Swordnova skill Razhell mentioned is the King of the Dark River and it comes with the Nameless - Unique.
