Build potential
So many different skills but builds are more or less locked to utilising one type of skill.

I want to throw fireballs and punch people and I want to figure out cool ways to do so. But the options for doing this sort of theory crafting are non-existent.

Makes me really hesitant to do another run.

dude, you can use youtube, there are build like fist fire, sword and water clone, etc you just too lazy to look for one LOL :steamhappy:

Not really accurate. You have four skills to create synergy with. Almost all in game synergy comes from your buffs/debuffs. Buffs and debuffs almost all require some sort of interaction from their own skill type to properly benefit from.

Fist fire could be anything that wants to swap out a move skill for fiery flame damage bonus.

Sword Water could be anything that wants the extra basic attack procs from the clone.

the etc... is what? True damage Palm/lightning builds? Being invulnerable with Wind movement?

We have three, with only one that has an interesting interaction. That is the issue. The game is not complex, it just has opaque mechanics.
