Soul reconstruction elixir

[What does monke do?]

I need this item to give to a priest so that I can give it to the Gouchen priest which I presume means I can fight it.

I can not for the life of me figure out where to get it though can anyone please help me.

buy it from the sect shop or farm everfrost for mats to craft it if you have alchy. Can only be crafted in cauldrons and not at workshop

Oh my alchemy is really trash so I have not done any sort of crafting from them. Do I have to get the recipe first or if I get a cauldron would I be able to craft it?

You don't raise Alchemy by doing. You merely need to beat a specific boss who will drop books that will boost your alchemy stat when read. It isn't really difficult, jut time consuming to do. As for the Soul Reconstruction pills you do need to buy the recipe from a shop and the best cauldron you can from your sect. From there the mini game isn't that hard. Just get more green then red. It looks a lot more complicated than it actually is.

It doesn't have to be of any particular quality so normally you can buy it from your Sect. For example I most recently bought one and my Sect at the time had 3.

I bought the lowest quality and it was less then 2000 to purchase.

Go to the workshop in a city, let them craft it for you but you farm the mats yourself in ever frost or buy the pill at your sect in Yun mo

This elixir will eventually spawn in a sect shop as your sect raise in prestige & time passes. It won't be there initially but after some time and as your sect attain prestige it will be there eventually.
