Can't open the game? do NOT delete version.dll (mods will no work correctly)

Deleting the the file version.dll will make the mods stop working correctly

what you need to do for open the game with out deleting that file is :

1) Close steam complete
2) Go to game files and change the name folder of the game
from 鬼谷八荒 to ggbh
3) go to the folder steamapp ( example if the game was in C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ggbh go to C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps)
4) open the file name appmanifest_1468810.acf with notepad
5) change the 鬼谷八荒 to ggbh and save
6) open steam and open the game (steam will load somthing because the game change folder)

now you can play the game with mods

I never installed any mods and i can't launch the game since reinstalling the game today

you will think that but if you delete version.dll i will tell you they are no working fine (i was like you thinking they work fine but omg i was wrong)
the easy way to test if you download the Tree mod that is in the most dowload when you go to any city you dont get the tree portal)

do what i say and it work is no for ppl that have mod only is for every one (the point is if you wanna download mod they will work)

reinstall or verfy game files might get the files back

Hey this does not work. All of these fancy steps only created a duplicated game version and the game won't launch. Any idea why this happened?

you prob did something wrong, did you make sure to change the folder name in steam apps and not copy it?

yes you have to rename it to something english and change the appmanifest to match whatever you renamed the folder to

Valve seems to have specifically tagged the site you link to as malicious. As a result Steam will not open this guide and advises strongly against visiting. I'm not saying it is but it might be worth exploring a different place to post up this information.
