Unable to Launch after Update

Is there anyone else having the issue of it not launching once you hit the "play" button?

Yep, just finished my update and now the game won't launch. Guess we'll have to wait for a hotfix.

If your game won't open
It seems the devs installed Melonloader incorrectly with their update. I managed to get the game functioning again by going to the melonloader website: Melonloader [melonwiki.xyz]
From there, download the melonloader.x86.zip file, and extract its contents into your game folder, overwriting the previous files. This seems to allow the game to run normally again.

Go to his post. It worked! Thanks

Need to turn off my antivirut for the first time. After the game is launched, I can turn on my antivirut again.

same thing happened to me @DCap . any word on patch to fix it any time soon? i mean the fix from spitfire is fine but i don't wana jank my game any more than it already is. i just hate having to tinker with programs to make then work.

Deleteing the version.dll in the game folder has fixed it for me.

Yesterday i was able to do this, but now it always not responding

hmm. i just tried to launch it and it did the same thing it did yesterday am i missing something?

Well, I deleted the version.dll file. Then the game got update again, and it doesn't work again. In order to the game to work, I have to delete the version.dll again. Hmm....

Its weird I know. I thought the update fixed it but I had to delete that file version.dll
