Children?
I don't know if it was answered before or addressed already, didn't find a recent thread about it, but can we have kids in this? I know we can get married and have lovers, but I'm wondering if I can have a child and raise them up to be a cultivator until they turn 18 and go on their own path.

I was wondering the same thing. I would have liked to make my offspring a "Paragon", but I've just been giving it to the random people in my sect.

So far not(

I do hope they add this feature in the future.

Also, according to cultivation lore, there is an option to reincarnate in your child, so it kinda logical to add them.
You can't.

Likely this will never be a feature. When the Sect update first came out they posted with the announcement that the game is not intended to be a "life simulator". So I doubt they will include things like children and such as that would lean to far into the game becoming a life simulator of sort.
Damn, that's disappointing. I was hoping that since a family tree thing exists and npcs could have family connections then we could have the same. Maybe even play as your kid if you died without any beads left and had a good relationship.
modders will fix it.

I guess I'll just adopt as many disciples as I can and give them the seeds I produce. I've killed off two of them though since they were mad that I started siding with the "Demons".

I agree though huge disappointment and really no need for a family tree. If you kill someone more than their family comes after you to kill you.

Time to see if I can get a harem route. I have some skill books that give stats for Spouse/Wife/Husband.

The npcs have children though.

You can also "have" children, just adopt someone. I never saw npcs having children that were below 16.

So old thread, but if you use the "Team up with NPC" mod and team up with your wife or husband a lot then you can have a child with them.

It was in the patch notes for the mod a little while back. If you just click on the patch notes button while on the mod you should be able to see it for yourself.

This will motivate me even more to use this mod. But do you know how it appears afterwards ? Does our child begins his cultivation debut at age 16?

You get a timeskip of 18 years and your kid starts at 18.

You can. I mean, you can pretty much have everything in this game. The way it works is by making a mod. But that will only be a side-thing, and you won't be able to go on with your child's character. This isn't the Sims. However, you can at least simulate the fact that you have a possible child if that floats your boat.
