The Soul Lamp Quest Rewards (Ghost Zouyu)

Finished the quest, one of the reward is a mount that allow u to travel freely between yin and yang space....what does this mean? how does this helps me in my journey?.

anyone that have gone thru this any recommendation whether i should choose this mount or the banner? (the third prize is just Ele. stats up)

1: It really is just flavor text. It doesn't really mean anything to actual gameplay.

2: The Mount is a pretty good one depending when you finish the Quest. It'll likely be your mount through Golden Core till you do the Soul Eating Pagoda where you'll likely get an even better one.

3: The Banner allows you to summon a ghostly ally when near death 3 times. It's not really worth it at all as it's likely not going to save you if you are really about to get killed.

I always take elemental stats up. Because this events happends early when you just arrive in 2nd town, so this stat boost is actually great. And the mount will be outdated as soon as you move to the next area (I am not sure if he even better than Golden Core egg mount (that you get from Jo).

As a complementary answer (rather late) since I just tried, as of present, by refusing the three rewards, the soul lamp will vanish while giving you a destiny that recover entirely your vitality, energy, and focus, as you die in a fight. The destiny vanishes once you use it, but I would say it's pretty much better than the actual rewards ?
