I can't, because I didn't test all of them.
But Life Steal is OP. Drums are really good.
Flying Sword lvl 3 will make it so you never have energy issues again, so it's kind of nice.
flying shield? are you talking about the flying sword or the bell? the flying sword is good only 'til origin. after that, it's about as useless as it gets. a for the bell, it's an artifact so unless you plan on spending 100+ years grinding the materials and the artifact spirit levels, it's not all that useful. there is a HUGE guide with what every breakthrough fate does. try having a look and see what suits your play style. i for one went full life-steal and undead. got a couple of mind skills and a special that boosts them by a lot (5k+ dmg, at least 3 times my own hp).
To clarify, what I'm referring to is the breakthrough bonuses.
I was given the option of Flying Sword and Flying Shield. Just like the sword that attacks for you, the Flying Shield follows you around in battle. In game it said it would block attacks, but I felt it was kind of lackluster. Perhaps its better at higher levels. I don't think that's an artifact... since it was the breakthrough bonus, but maybe I read it wrong.
As for the guide, are you referring to the wiki?
I went through it and it seems very incomplete. Like no information on a lot of the fates or how they work in gameplay. Like, I found one that boosted perception by +50 during my foundation breakthrough, but I later saw a post saying flat increases were bad it was better to get CDR or life steal.
Edit: for example, I read somewhere Flying Shield 3 gives you 200% reflect. But I havent seen anyone test this or confirm it.
The flying shield is the "Mysterious Shield" and works differently. It only blocks projectiles though and also isn't that good.
Flying Sword Fates come in two types. Jo's is great past tier 2 with its status effects, the unnamed one gains energy theft at tier 3 and isn't that strong.
Grandork: What makes the war drum so good in your eyes if you mean that Fate? Its damage doesn't seem too high, though I guess the damage reduction is solid. Does the fate have hidden tiers?
It's damage is actually quite solid. And the reduced damage allows you a window to go all in on the boss. Plus, with Blade, it's basically a life syphon if you are in a "Oh, ♥♥♥♥!" moment. Just run around and let the drums heal you up.
When the game starts, it rolls all of your destinies (but you won't know what they are). As such, even if you load, it won't change. Although you do get a few items to reroll particularly bad destinies.
Outside of that, I didn't feel affected by the save restriction.
Thank you for your response.
The first Destiny really doesn't matter. If you have to keep doing that after reaching high tiers, you are screwed. The whole point is just rolling with the punches and going with what is served (Roguelite).
Also, I'm not talking about Character creation destiny, those you can fiddle. It's the breathrough Destiny.
OOOOOOOOOh ok, I misunderstood. That's not a big deal then. I thought you were talking about the character creation destinies, which would be a huge hassle just to get a basic groundwork that I was willing to play with. If it's just the in game progression stuff, that's no big deal at all.
Thanks for beating his ass btw. Every Luwu's ass beaten gives me a smile.
For my short experience with the game I'd say "NO MORE THAN 2" since it should exhausting keep up with everything.I'm right here?
The answer is all of them. If you are doing the money trick (selling Red Books on the Auction House and then stealing them back), then you should have infinite money. It only takes like 10 years to max them all out.
Should I bother with artifacts..are they important in end game?
