Max Charisma At Character Creation

Believe it or not, how your character looks is going to determine what your character's base charisma looks like. However, if you get the Destiny "Stunning Beauty", your charisma is then boosted at 900, which is higher than anything possible through character creation. Unfortunately, Stunning Beauty will never pop up if your Charisma is less than Extraordinary. So, if you want to make "Stunning Beauty" pop up so you can make the character you really want, or you just want to have the highest possible without using up any of your three Destinies at character creation, here's a handy little summary.

Male:
Headwear: 3, 4
Front Hair: 33
Back Hair: 1
Eyes: 3
Eyebrows: 11
Mouth: 5
Nose: 2
Face: 10
Back: 16
Outfit: 31, Gray (Yes, there is a difference in charisma between the colors.)
Facial Feature: 15

Female:
Headwear: 14
Front Hair: 2
Back Hair: 14
Eyes: 19
Eyebrows: 9
Mouth: 23
Nose: 11
Face: 2
Back: 15
Outfit: 46, Red (Again, yes, there's a small difference in charisma between the colors.)

Admittedly, the end results look pretty handsome and beautiful, respectively. Also, I can report that the outfit the designers considered the most "Charismatic" for women didn't show any skin or give her unusually large "attributes". In fact, the outfits that did sport significant cleavage or unusually large endowments actually dropped the character's charisma by a significant degree. Charisma seems to be more about how classy a character looks, and not how sexy they are.

Again, as noted above, if you want to just grab the destiny "Stunning Beauty", you can reroll destinies until you get it, then go back to character creation and change it how you like. This is just the maximum I've found possible after experimenting with the character creation a bit. I didn't see it posted anywhere in English, so I thought I'd share.

Edit: I've been informed that the Stunning Beauty Destiny is unlocked by having a high charisma character made and unlocking the achievement. Fair enough. However, with this recipe, doing so is a breeze.

To get stunning beauty to appear, I had to create a character like this, pick traits that enhanced charisma then actually go into the game to unlock the achievement for 650 charisma. Only after I did that did the trait then appear in character creation.

Initial charm is not that important，Mounts can increase charm。
And too much charm will make you easier to be discover when stealing

But there's benefits too: You can get Wisdom Exp from spars, you get people walking up asking to train with you, which is another great way to get Wisdom Exp as well as cultivation exp. You never have to pay for healing potions. Also, you'll get invited to join different sects if you're unaffiliated. It's all a question of what you find useful and what you don't.

So I guess it may be a thing for normal mode but if you take the stated combo for charisma plus a destiny like wanderlust, then taking stunning beauty drops your charisma by about 45. Just an interesting observation.

High charisma characters are extremely visible, so they can't pickpocket without being caught. However, low charisma characters are less visible, and therefore less likely to be seen. Drop your charisma low enough, and no one will notice you while you pickpocket from them. It is a viable way to play, using the fact that you have effectively no presence to attend auctions, mark the high rollers, and rob them blind.

What Stunning Beauty does is lock your charisma at 900. On the one hand, that means it will not go down no matter what Destinies you combine with it. However, on the other hand, it also means it never goes up. So, other destinies that would raise your charisma or mounts that give charisma won't do anything. You'll be 900 Charisma pretty, no matter what. But with the right Destinies and equipment, you can easily be 1500 Charisma or higher.

There's no indication of a ceiling to Charisma, so the above combo can give you the biggest base Charisma, and you can then combine it with Destinies that raise charisma, plus mounts, and as far as I can tell, it all stacks. So, if you want the highest charisma possible, avoid Stunning Beauty. If you want a character with a lot of charisma, but don't care about maximizing it and want to make the character look how you want, then use Stunning Beauty.

Can confirm. Had tested modified Charisma values in memory. Tried making it -400 to 9000 and the game still doesn't break. At least that's what I found.

-400 being "Abhorrent"

Well, consider Charisma to be how much attention you draw from others, how much you stand out, not just in terms of beauty, but also in terms of the martial world. It could also be a measure of how "visible" you ki is. Someone whose ki glows like a second sun is going to have a hard time doing anything sneaky. However, if you have low or no charisma, you have very little presence, making you harder to notice visually, or detect via ki. They don't notice you even when you come in close and take their stuff.

We're dealing with a world of martial artists who fly on swords, can poke holes into boulders with a finger, and call upon the forces of nature at will. Normal logic doesn't necessarily apply to how things work here.

Right, I get that, I just figured I would mention that since the OP said that taking stunning beauty would "boost" your charisma to 900.
