larger initial rectangles for armies, I only noticed the rectangles after adding a third army, maybe outline them, brighter colors? Any ability to control tactics? They always attack across a line and then fold up a flank. Also the ability to turn a defense into a counter-attack. Will you add leaders later?
It will be nice if/when we can remap keys.
First Impression:
You had me at Battle Ducks!

idk if this is possible with such scale but i will really like especially For ww2 units is that if we make them defend they will automatically spread out and go behind cover if there is one in there radius.
This will kinda make defending more enjoyable to see and fun cause reactangle formation doesent look good on ww2 units.
u can do that with rts but it takes some time setting them up especially if there are alot of units.

A workshop. (that hopefully supports more than skins and models) :trolol:

Level up your characters, like in that old-ass game LOTR: Battle for middleearth. Your heroes would level up to lvl 10, and get new abilities.

I don't actually have the game so it might have this, but: Show how many kills each character has gotten. Just for fun.

-fast forward feature
-team colors for units
-easy way to locate smaller forces on the battle editor (hard to find that single John Wick Action Man I set to wipe out a huge group of zombies
-easy way to switch between teams instantly during the battle, ie. by pressing the number keys
-more AI options, rather than blindly rushing toward each other, have them take tactical actions
-line-of-sight for ranged units so they have to spread out more
-friendly fire option
-breakdown of how many of each unit each team has left rather than just a total troop count
-war horns
-destroyable castles

I agree, having WWII armies be more spaced out would go a long way. AI pathing to cover would obviously be very difficult, though.

I completely agree, although the AI pathing is already pretty good, just needs some bug fixing around buildings in my opinion. I especially love the idea of destructible castles.

Ladders and stairways to the rooves of buildings. I've had a lot of stalemates in this game because units get stuck on the roof and nobody can kill them. If enemy units could break down the door and go up some stairs, or climb up a ladder, this issue would be fixed. Some buildings already have internal stairs, but they can't be used. For buildings without them, a ladder would be an easy fix so that every building doesn't need its own internals modeled.

No one survives a close-range Holy Shotgun blast. Game over. :steamhappy:

One more suggestion, it's weird that each one of the pellets is not a one shot kill. The Holy Shotgun would be much more devastating if the spread made it hit and kill more units, instead of hitting more units, but not killing them.

I would like to see some sort of option to make gun tracer fire less noticeable when you have hundreds of thousands of WW2 soldiers firing the tracer fire blocks out the battlefield and I have a hard time seeing whats going on zoomed in.

the only new feature I really want is a simple post-battle statistic that describes how many survived the battle from a unit. For example: team 1 unit 1 romans remained 356, unit 2 trolls remained 6, unit 3 catapults remained 42, and so on. I miss this one

especially the titan

The only feature I want :) is Zombies running through a modern city (and appropriate response by whoever :)

setting up the army shapes could use some UI improvements / additional ways:
- select number -> span rectangle via mouse and calc spacing from the size the user chose
- select number and spacing -> calc pixel square footage and let the user use a brush to use up the calculated area piecemeal
- allow additive/subtractive selections : e.g. create a square first than erase a circle in the middle to allow open placement of other armies without needing to make a box out of 4 armies for example
in the end all of these fall under the heading of "painting tools"
