It will be nice if/when we can remap keys.
First Impression:
You had me at Battle Ducks!
This will kinda make defending more enjoyable to see and fun cause reactangle formation doesent look good on ww2 units.
u can do that with rts but it takes some time setting them up especially if there are alot of units.
Level up your characters, like in that old-ass game LOTR: Battle for middleearth. Your heroes would level up to lvl 10, and get new abilities.
I don't actually have the game so it might have this, but: Show how many kills each character has gotten. Just for fun.
-team colors for units
-easy way to locate smaller forces on the battle editor (hard to find that single John Wick Action Man I set to wipe out a huge group of zombies
-easy way to switch between teams instantly during the battle, ie. by pressing the number keys
-more AI options, rather than blindly rushing toward each other, have them take tactical actions
-line-of-sight for ranged units so they have to spread out more
-friendly fire option
-breakdown of how many of each unit each team has left rather than just a total troop count
-war horns
-destroyable castles
- select number -> span rectangle via mouse and calc spacing from the size the user chose
- select number and spacing -> calc pixel square footage and let the user use a brush to use up the calculated area piecemeal
- allow additive/subtractive selections : e.g. create a square first than erase a circle in the middle to allow open placement of other armies without needing to make a box out of 4 armies for example
in the end all of these fall under the heading of "painting tools"
