Sorry to tell you, but Age 3 have 5-6k players by day in Europe, AoM have 2-3k, so contrast your information before saying that, and is the black sheep bc its about colonization era, Microsoft has been very upfront in ignoring this political statements, do you imagine talking about slaves, racism or something like that? No of course not, AGE 3 is on the top 5 of most played RTS, it has more ppl than Company of Heroes (if you sum the 1, 2 and 3, they give the same number as players as Age 3), so no reason to abandon a game that ppl have fun playing, is not like MS cant affort to maintain their own saga. At least we have DLCs for Age 4.
The content was good but i agree that the campaing was a bit bad, they just copied how campaings in Age 2 works and there you have it, we will have to see how this DLCs are.
Yep, incredibly sad to see, as much of my childhood was spent playing AoE 3. To see it discarded to such a level that it isn't even shown on the announcement image (but AoE mobile is, wtf?) is, in my opinion, rather pathetic.
I doubt it
- Are there any plans to improve the godawful AoE2:DE and not great AoM:R AI to at least AoE3 levels? If only you could ask the studio who made that one how to make good skirmish AI...
- Have you finally hired your first ever tester to test new patches and DLCs, or will they keep coming with 50% chance of breaking some core game mechanic? I have experience and I'm free at the moment, let me know if I can help.
- Are you aware about 90% of the AoE playerbase does not give a ♥♥♥♥ about espurts and maybe you should also balance the games with them in mind and not just the ten sweaty dudes at the top of the ladder who reduced the game into MS Excel on Arabia?
- Which sales department clown decided to end support for AoE3:DE, by far the best and most polished AoE game at the moment?
Thanks in advance from a 20+ year fan of the series. (and fan of 3:DE and 4, 2:"DE" not so much anymore)
