Game fails to launch after update "Game Config Not Found" FIXED

"The game is exiting as it cannot load or create the game configuration data. This is due to no directory access or file/folder permissions." WTF! Worked perfectly fine before udpate.....

Same issue here, not able to open the game.

pour les joueur qui on eu des problème avec Cardinal il faut redemarrer le 'ordinateur et Cardinal va s'installer tout seule et vous avez juste a redémarré un seconde fois et tout iras bien

Has anyone else had this error?

I tried adding 'RelicCardinal.exe' to allow an application to access the controlled folder in Ransomware Protection in Windows Security... It didn't work.

Disabling Windows Security didn't work.

I validated the files with Steam and that didn't work either.

Another solution?
