Game does not start

Hey there ,

Since the last patch up I can't start the game. Every time I launch it it just keep exiting in 1 sec and don't even see the starting screen. Anybody else have this problem?

Hi, same problem here. I updated the game this morning and since then, I can't play anymore.
It doesn't show an error message so I don't understand what is the issue incourred.
I hope it's a bug that could be fixed early...

Just uninstall and then install again. fixed it!

For me, it was enough to verify the integrity of the game files. Steam has re-downloaded the corrupted files and the game is working again.

The game won't start even after verifying the installation files. I get an error message that says: the game cannot load or create the configuration data. This is due to no directory access or file/folder permissions. What the ♥♥♥♥!

Me to. Just downloaded latest patch, Game accepts Play then after a second of black screen it goes back to first screen.

Same with me, I tried everything.
Then I tried the ultimate last option, Reinstall the windows. I think some corrupt or pirated files are interrupting the launch.

Had the same issue... in my case, the culprit was MSI Afterburner. I really don't now why, but if MSI Afterburner is running, the game would launch and after just one or two seconds it just quits to windows, with no error message. It's weird, but disabling / closing MSI Afterburner does the trick. Hope that helps!
