Random crashing mid game
Started crashing mid game on multiple maps with different civs. Played a few weeks back no issue, guessing the new update broke it. I dont event get error codes it just closes like the way you kill a process in task manager.

I am having same issues, though it has got worse - my game now random crashes at intervals..including on the menu screen when i just leave the game open.

go to search: Event viewer>Windows logs>Application then look for Errors.

You might see something like this:
Faulting application name: RelicCardinal.exe, version: 5.2.131.0, time stamp: 0x639bda3c
Faulting module name: RelicCardinal.exe, version: 5.2.131.0, time stamp: 0x639bda3c
Exception code: 0xc0000005

I was seeing that or something similar and then I ran a system file scan. My main menu crashing stopped but it still crashed mid game but this time no error logs.
I'm having the same issue, anything work so far?

In addition the the RelicCardinal.exe problem it looks like I sometimes get this. Not sure if they are related.

Faulting application name: AUDIODG.EXE, version: 10.0.19041.1865, time stamp: 0x61fdcc50
Faulting module name: NvAudioEffects.dll, version: 1.0.1.0, time stamp: 0x615ff9be
Exception code: 0xc0000005
I think I may have found a potential fix for the crashing.
It could be down to overclocking GPU or a factory overclocked card. try running at NVIDIA reference clock speeds:
Open NVIDIA Control Panel, click 'Help', then 'Debug mode'.

Then check to see if you still have crashing issues. let me know if it helps
I have the same issue. Is there no fix?
