Massive FPS drops when selecting units

So i have a rtx 3090 with a I9 10850K Cpu. 32 gb Ram. Running the game at 4k.

It’s fine most of the time. FPS sits around 102. But holy ■■■■ whenever i select units it just drops massively. Selecting 40+ units drops my FPS with around 80. Selecting 50+ units is already near impossible to play.

It even drops 10-20 fps when selecting villagers. I don’t know what this is all about but i believe my specs are enough to run this game. Anyone else having this?

I don't have that issue specifically, but I have found a delay when placing long walls.

There are many performance issues with this game, mainly centered around single thread performance I believe. I am confident these issues will be fixed in future patches, but for now we just have to put up with them.

Actually the Beta ran even better for me. I really don't know what they did but this sucks

maybe turn down the graphics in settings? i mean, what benefit does running at max settings really mean in this sort of game?

I think this is acceptable if they fix it within a week. Game is running good for me on a ca 4 year old system... I dont need max graphics for rts of this kind. But framedrops like this should never happen! But give them a week

It has nothing to do with lowering graphics. I get fps drops ONLY when selecting units. Other than that it runs fine at 100+ fps.

this is a bug only when selecting units and has nothing to do with graphic quality, people have already tested low graphics even with RTX 2080TI and better gpus and still get FPS drops when selecting units
especially in multi monitor setup
