Game freezes

[Krankenstein]

Game freezes after some certain time (while creating the lobby) only music plays but nothing else is responsive. It was working fine before, anyone experiencing same?
I verified the files, deleted and moved it to different storage, updated Nvidia etc. none helped.
Any idea? Thanks.

I tried to be fast as F boi this time and started the game straight. Game closed itself without giving any crash report.
Good bye 2,5 hours, I could play 2 rounds.

Fixed by deleting save folder > Documents / My Games / AOE4
Rip 3 hours.

Ok again started to do the same. Annoying if I have to delete the game saves at every start.

go to ur exe file and then go to properties and turn on scaling, that helped from a friend of me.

I tried couple of DPI settings but didn't fix it. Not sure if you meant this, couldn't find any other scaling option

Update:
Problem was caused by MSI Afterburner. I suspected some programs working behind so tried clean boot and game worked fine. Stupid enough, I had same problem some time ago and figured out it was the Afterburner but somehow I forgot it lol.
