Boy you love to twist ♥♥♥♥ don't you? Up until this point I corrected you calling them american by saying they were called native americans!
Then you spewed this lie, a flat out lie which I proved you wrong on yet you kept on arguing!
Followed by this BS. No they weren't called nations in this time period, nor were they called native americans, they were Indian tribes. The term american didn't come into existence until roughly 1760s. Again, by your logic of using time period terminology, you are 100% wrong! Not to mention that you claimed Indians couldn't exist anywhere besides South Asia... YOU keep using modern terminology while insisting we use time period terminology...
Why you complaining about paragraphs? You're the one always preaching to read a book or "it won't hurt you guys to read some history".... Practice what ya preach! Besides, you're the one who insisted I was using incorrect terminology, then insisting we use time period specific terminology, so I proved otherwise... You were trying to nitpick and got burned...
"but this is 800-1600 not 2024" You just said it yourself! They were called indians from 1492 until the 1960s when they sought to be referred to as native americans. The term american became a thing in the 1760s, is it finally clicking? You just proved yourself wrong idiot! Both paragraphs here are wrong! Already proved they weren't called americans, so quit using the term... Stop being a lazy ♥♥♥♥ and add the native in front like it's supposed to have!
The reason the europeans called them Indians was because Columbus thought he had reached Asia, in hopes of a new TRADE route to Asia... It had nothing to do with wiping them out, not at the time of discovery in 1492... Love how you just make up your own reasoning to things, (drum roll) FYI you're incorrect yet again... For someone who claims to be so "well read", you sure don't know wtf you're talking about! I shouldn't be surprised though, wikipedia was your most used source of "credible" information.... I'm going to go write a biography of erb on wikipedia, trust me it will all be 100% factual...
I pointed out above how I used the modern PC term of native american until you went on about time period specific terminology, which you were wrong on as they were NOT called american. In what world do you generalize an entire continent, especially as large as the americas(north/central/south), into one term that wasn't even around in the time period lol? Literally no one over here classifies everyone on this massive continent as american! Literally no one!
You still haven't said a word about calling Russians asian just because they are on the same rock!!! Your logic is weak and ignorant! Third time I've mentioned Russia/Asian if not mistaken... Does it help if I single out this sentence, since apparently you can't handle a paragraph?
The Aztec and Maya were both neither american nor native american, irrelevant to this topic! Both are central american(term didn't exist) that the spanish called Indians(wow even more indians) that are now called latin american/latino... Wow, you really know your ♥♥♥♥...
I literally just said that you illiterate pos... You're the one who for some reason thinks all the native americans would just be called indians and confuse people with IQs of 10 like yourself... There never was any confusion on this besides yourself! They all have unique names, just like the indians in south asia, just like I said... News flash, not a single one of them will be named american either smart ass!
First you want time period terminology, and now you blast me for using the correct time period terminology that you insisted on, which is Indian, because you got schooled??? If you had used the proper term of native american, and not claimed Indians only exist in south asia, there would have been no need to correct you using the time period terminology you insisted on!!!! /knock on wood.... Anyone home? McFly! McFly!
Also, if you knew how to read, you would have noticed the definition of american in the Oxford English Dictionary that I quoted was the ORIGINAL definition, not the modern, in an attempt to not confuse your tiny little brain.... But here we are...
LMAO! Good Bye!
