I'm born in the 80's as well, so that argument doesn't work with me. The main difference between us is that I can spell, and that I am willing to admit there are 20 year olds that are smarter than me, especially with the current generational leap. It's only that in some societies, mostly Eastern (you said you lived in Belgium but I don't know where you're from, you might be from Afghanistan doing manual labor in Belgium for all I know), young people are made to believe that can't be the case, so they lack confidence. But trust me, there are 20 year olds playing this game that would put you (and me) to shame in terms of reasoning. No offense.
My dude, I'm both a campaign as well as PVP player so I can safely say that you are flat out unhinged with your non-sensical rant.
I do respect everyone, regardless of their age or opinion, even if we end up not agreeing. However, I expect some mutual respect from the other.
I highly recommend to sit down and take a deep breath before your next reply.
The 80s betray you, because they belong to ME!!
I am very sorry but your arguments do not make sense at all.
Especially with RTS, the playerbase is mostly in their 20s to 30s so at an Age where one can expect that they're reasonable enough to 1) behave online 2) stop when things are not fun
Your ramblings about children, Roblox, a war and whatever are not at all related to this game.
I don't play pvp for the rush of winning, lol. I play ranked to play against others on my level, no matter the outcome because the AI in any game becomes predictable after a while.
my arguments do make sence you just dont want to see it because off your pvp addiction or dont you put much time in gaming? i gues yes, comming home and go game, thats all they do, maybe they work but mostly dont . No pvp is a very bad thing and i will not change my opinion for you, i dont care if your an addict or not but i have my life on the good rails, don,t know about you but i dont care, but 1 thing you may know, i dont have kids because off how the world is now, i dont want my kid to be an addict to mafia company"s, i dont want my kid to care for screens and games more then life, so because off this new age gamers, i cant have i kid because i dont want her/him be in a world where no one cares, so you can continue with your addiction, i dont care anymore , its not my life, so do whit it what you want , but dont come crying later lol
Yes, I can confirm all players who engage in Multiplayer destroy their consoles and beat their parents. You should stay away from this game mode at all costs!
Yes. Most if not all of those videos are staged. I am not denying that especially children are vulnerable to become addicted to online play but tbh that says more about the parents.
No, your arguments do not make sense. But I got to admit, it is kinda funny hat you seem to equate PVP with drug addiction.
It's absolutely okay not to be interested in PVP. But to equate it with drugs is... one of the takes of all time.
Or... it's simply not an addiction if you're reasonable enough, simple as that. :)
We don't even need to do a bet as I've been there and done that xD Last year, I had two longer breaks in AoE 2 (my "main" game) where I simply didn't feel like playing ranked. You can see that in the rating curve. I didn't start shivering, became aggresive or whatsoever.

..Co-op Commander in Starcraft 2 is MP.. you literally cannot do it offline or solo.
Also, the custom games are overwhelmingly MP too.
Then you have older RTS still kept alive today by the MP scene. Command and Conquer series, Warcraft 3.
And Civilization. Don't forget Civilization...
Total War series is debatable, since it's an RTS-TBS hybrid, but Anno is definitely not an RTS. That's a city builder, though to you there's probably no difference.
