Request for a Reconnect Feature in Age of Empires IV

Dear Age of Empires IV Development Team,

First of all, I want to thank you for your dedication to maintaining and improving this incredible game that has brought so much joy to players around the world. Your work is deeply appreciated by the entire community.

However, I would like to address an issue that affects both individual players and the overall multiplayer experience. Currently, there is no option to reconnect to a game after a disconnection. Whether due to temporary internet issues or unexpected crashes, losing the ability to return to an ongoing match can be frustrating for players. Not only does this impact the disconnected player, but it can also disrupt the flow and balance of the match for others involved.

Introducing a reconnect feature would be a game-changing improvement. It would allow players to rejoin matches without ruining their own experience or the enjoyment of their teammates and opponents. Other competitive games have successfully implemented such systems, and I believe that incorporating this feature into Age of Empires IV would further elevate its status as a modern RTS.

I understand that developing and implementing new features takes time and resources, but I strongly believe this would be a worthwhile investment for the longevity of the game and the satisfaction of its players.
