Bloody funny while i'm playing :')
I assume that the development team put the same effort into all languages. But only native speaking russians and arabs could confirm that. How it looks with old Chinese and Indian dialects I can not say. But Russian seems to sound heavier, more rolling, more unfinished.
Native speaker of Russian here. What Rus speaks in game is pretty much the same Old Russian I was learning to read as part of my degree in History. I say they nailed it pretty well. A lot of archaisms, I even had to look up a couple of those myself.
Please go do your homework before you post such a reply on a native dutchman.
The dutch language is a german language, they spliced from Diets several 100s of years ago.
A lot of words are simular and yes, speech does change but never completely.
We are still using words they used 1000 years ago.
(I have a sister who studies our langage, is new a dutch teacher. She has books from the 13 and 14th century. I can barelly read it, but i do recognize certain words)
So please don't tell me i don't understand my own native language.
(As for Danish, i live now one hour away from the german border (in DK), pretty sure that blended a lot her, scandinavian and german over 2000 years.)
