he/she also needs to make sure that GPU-Z doesn't close when launching AoE4, play a match for 5 min and then ask your friend to check the "GPU Load" if the GPU load hasn't hit like 80-100% then the 3050 Ti isn't really being used in-game at all.
Another thing to look out for is not having the laptop set into some weird hybrid power saving mode that auto limits how much the power hungry 3050 is allowed to use during peak loads.
We have checked that AoE4 is working with the dedicated graphics card but we can't explain why it doesn't reach 60 fps even with the lowest settings of the game.
All temperatures are correct and the graphics card reaches its maximum wattage of 75 watts, the fans work fine and the computer continues to work as it should. The laptop has been bought recently and in the other games it has not had any problem except for this one.
Make sure that your game is running on your dedicated GPU (3050ti) instead of your onboard solution of your CPU.
We know, the laptop is plugged into the power supply at all times.
According to MSI Afterburner all the graphics load is carried by the 3050 Ti.
I would disable the iGPU just in case, since Laptops tend to have dual graphics solutions enabled to spread the load and be power efficient, which bugs with games from time to time.
If that doesn't help:
The only other thing I can think of is maybe having the game on a native 4k notebook, which only top modern graphics cards should run.
Lowering this to 1080p might help in this case (1920x1080)
We deactivate the iGPU from the Device Manager, is it correct to do so? Anyway it didn't work either, we can't explain why we don't have the same performance as someone else who has the same laptop and the same components on YT.
Also we don't have another laptop to test the game on, I have a desktop with a 7900XTX and a 7800x3d so it couldn't be the same.
Yes, that is the correct way to do so.
Keep in mind that you should clean restart the Laptop after disabling the iGPU in the device manager.
Hmm...
You could check to deactivate NVidia experience, since this software tends to overwrite your ingame settings with its' own.
May you make a few screenshots of your settings and your system specs and post them here after uploading it somewhere for me, please?
