Sultan's Ascend might be the last dlc for AOE 4? Terribly bad dlc for single-players?
With the mixed reviews of the new DLC; the campaigns being bad and many recycled units for the variant civs, the Japanese don't have their own walls but uses the chinese walls? This might be the last straw for Relic and Microsoft to create "true new" content for the single-player of this game? So every next expansion one mediocre campaign, this game won't live up to AOE 2 if this keep happening.

So the new dlc is targeted basically for multiplayer people? Poor casual sp players like me. No new missions for the Art of War civilizations. Also the subtle pushing of woke agenda of Jeanne D'Arc instead of renaming it to Burgundy. Jeanne D'Arc never went to war with a sword and shield. She should have been a banner hero not a paladin.

The UI/UX is still terrible and the game still has memory leaks not well optimized. Did you guys enjoy the campaign? This might be Sultan's Descent.

Check the reviews delusional AOE 4 hardcore fans.

I'm stating facts that Relic failed even their main game COH3 and it shows in the quality of AOE 4 latest DLC. It is already mixed reviews why not positive because it is a mediocre dlc with just 2 new civs and bloated "variant" civs also a very bad campaign. Once the hype for the new civs are gone one can truly see how bad the game is.

No wonder this game will never be good as long as players are in denial.

I only read the English reviews that makes it worse if there are more negative reviews in Chinese. Sad day for AOE 4 single-players.

AoE 2´s last DLC got only 2 copy + paste civs with 1 unique unit for the same price. AoE 4 got 6 really different civs + maps + campaign + missions for avatar and flag stuff. The price is completely fair for what you get at AoE 4 and overpriced milking a cow out of their last drop of milk at AoE 2.

So following your own logic AoE 2 is dying because of this bad failure when the new low content AoE 2 DLC was released. A sad day for AoE 2 players.

Actually, they got Armenians and Georgians that got plenty of AoM and AoE 4 in them (Mule Cart, Buffing vills with Churches). So by your definition, those two games are copy pasted, lol.
Oh, they also got a free rework and 3 new campaigns.

Wow they copy + pasted a mule cart out of AoM so their copy + pasting from inside AoE 2 civs isn´t as obvious as normal. And wow got one buff building copied + pasted out of AoE 4 because a lot of civs in AoE 4 have this feature since start for villagers, buildings and units.

AoE 4 has a whole streamlined concept for every civilization, if you would play AoE 4, you would know. AoE 2 has copied ONE feature out of other, better AoE games. The rest is the usual copy + pasting, locking some techs and a unique unit. Now I will play AoE 2 immediately, sounds sooo good - NOT. :steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:

yeah "reviews" like: "only 8 missions" and thumbs down, or "boring" and thumbs down. Written by scrubs that have a hard time beating medium ai. Salty trolls, l2p.

Lol, funny how you still don't understand AoE 2's civs 11 UU + UT is surface literally everyone, even not players get; understanding how to play them is beyond surface.

Y'know, the best option would be to play all AoE games instead of going like "ugh copy paste ugh" :)

It is probably because of language errors in Chinese. I have seen a few complaints on the forum.

Funny how a wood class player with a rating under 1000 wants to lecture a former AoE 2 clan league player, mastersgames player and MS zone player with 1850 rating in AoE 2 and then fails every time with his fairy tales. So obvious you don´t even get what´s over the surface of the game but are bragging with your allegedly super knowledge? That is really funny, I´ll give you that. :steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:
