Bruh... So every tuning pack is a guessing game of if it is compatible... It will still load in without error or warning and then just not work... Why don't they disable them as options if they won't work then? like wtf....
I want a simple tuning pack... No gun powder units(or upgrades/defence cannons) (Just make em cost 100,000 gold), 1000 pop count. villagers (and traders) take up 0.5 pop and are built 2 at a time for the price of 1. All build times are halved. All gather rates and resource capacity are doubled. Resources themselves are like 100x their usual holding amount, including stone.
I would make such a thing myself, but the map editor was broken from release.... and there are no tutorials on how to do this stuff....
All this thanks to microsoft forcing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ microsoft store uppon everyone.
So mods have to work on both systems Steam & MS Store using an external system and not steam workshop...
Microsoft set up their own Mod System to use.
Then AoE4 came to Steam because sales were not high enough on MS store
But because the Game came first out on MS Store + with their own mod system.
They couldn't use Steam Workshop for modding otherwise it would split up the modding community into Steam Mods and MS Store Mods and causing problems with Crossplay
That's why we don't have the Better Mod system Steam Workshop for AoE4
