This game desperately needs more factions

Age of Empires 1 has 17 factions

Age of Empires 2 has 43 factions

Age of Empires 3 has 22 factions

But this game only has 10. We are going to new some more factions. Not 1. Not 2. Not 3. But like a bunch of em. At least 4-5 more factions this year. And a couple of new campaigns.

Starcraft had 3. Warcraft had 2. People in AoE don't even play them all. When you get more they all tend to be similar.

The number of faction is not that important important. The factions in AoE2 are almost all the same with one unique unit (and a passive bonus), while factions in AoE4 all have a very different gameplay. They do not require the same amount of work.

OP: we get new civs with the expansion. I agree with the other folks, though: quality over quantity. No point in adding ne civs that are the same as the others -> see the discussions about the Chinese in Age of Mythology.

I am fine with Age 4 and faction amount. wonderfull game. next faction is coming with the dlc.

aoe 1 and 2 are copy paste. how many faction out of the 10 we have can u play properly?
