Path of the spirit (Chinese Mastery)

I can't achieve it.
I don't know why I do as the game describe.
but it don't allow me to pass.

There should be tracking for these masteries

there are 4 upgrades in the spirit way, make sure to NOT upgrade your units AT ALL until you reach imp and THEN get the upgrades in the spirit way

Found out because Zhuge Nu first upgrade, don't upgrade them until we reach age 4.
After built Spirit way upgrade everything in its.
Now I stuck with use gunpowder units tokill 50 enemies
I conscripted handcannon and kill more than 50 units but still not pass.

1) build all landmarks till you get to the imperial age
2) don't upgrade zhu ge nus and fire lancers at the archery range and stable
3) build spirit way and you should be able to do 3 upgrades: one that boosts villagers' rate of gathering, one that enhances zhu ge nus and one that enhances fire lancers

Guys, this mastery makes me go insane! XD I'm apparently too stupid for that and always do something wrong! I really don't upgrade anything until the last age and go through all the dynasties and ended up doing these 4 upgrades in the spirit path. One for the Villagers, two for the Special Crossbowmen and 1 upgrade for the Fire Lancers. Can someone help me again? Its about my 10th round with them and still nothing pops up xD

No luck whatsoever, you'd think that all you have to do is to do the 4 upgrades (before upgrading the units elsewhere) and it would unlock but no, they should add a proper description on how to do it

Okay so ironically enough, i just managed to do the Mastery, what i did:

Right click the game in Steam
Choose properties
Click Betas
Where it say None , choose previous_live
Let it Update (or reverse i suppose)
It unlocked first try for me

(didn't upgrade anything except for the required upgrades
max resources
no opponent
Surrender once done)

Really hope this can help someone else also!

Ive done it with help bellow:
The mastery can be very tricky, specially with it’s vague description.


The way to complete the mastery is by NOT UPGRADING NEITHER ZHUGE NU OR FIRE LANCER FROM ARCHERY RANGE/STABLE, but through the Spirit Way landmark. Most people get confused by seeing only 3 icos, but the Zhuge Nu is a 2 time upgrade.
It doesn’t matter the building order for the landmark, nor needed to be on the last dinasty. As long as you get these 4 upgrades from the landmark itself, you’re clear.
