ded game, ded community. rip aoe4 it was average knowing you.
This + community not helping each other (to less ppl tryed things) = less or worse mods as it should be.
If any dev read that: For editor, pls:
- Let me change pop limit in files
- Let me change pop increase of buildings
without beeing a software developer myself. The values are in the files, open them for functional editing or show how.
- Let me playtest in editor without building my mod, close editor, start game, set up game, go to unit fight area and test. For fine tuning, I need editor ingame test abililities...
I think over the time I will learn more and more limits of the editor which makes me sad considering having it a little more beginner-modder friendly it could open so freaking gread modding options.
Incidentally, this forum isn't the best at modding. Do visit the modder's discord : https://discord.gg/Px5FSwx7
There are knowledgeable people in there, also some Relic representatives.
Can you link the modders discord? Im in the "official?" discord which has AoE1-4 subforums with moddings etc, but thats dead as well.
I've edited my post. There is the link.
This + solution description are gold worth, thank you so much, answer for thread tagged.
