AoE IV - Can I play via LAN or Wifi against my brother with shared family steam account?

So, I've just bought AoEIV. Can I play against my brother ? Via shared account, the same game?

Steam won't allow people to play games on shared account at the same time. Also AoE4 doesn't have a LAN feature.
