Change game speed !

Hey Guys .. is there a way to slower the games speed ?

This is one of the most important aspects in a strategy game. I wonder why they haven't fixed it so many months now...

there's a mod out called advanced game settings. that allows you to change the game speed. highly recommended.

Easy enough... The 'creator' of the game selects a speed when forming the session. Thats the way it is done in many other RTS

I've added one of them but still cannot work out how to slow the game speed? How do you do it as it does not appear in the settings? Not sure how these Mod things work tbh!

Advanced Game Settings comes as a Gamemode, so you have to switch to it.

When you set up a Single-/Multiplayer game, click on the 2nd tab which shows the current game mode (should be Standard). Click on Change and switch to Advanced Game Settings.

These sadly don't exist, the speed is fixed.

Thank you for letting us know about this mod.

This is perfect for a brand new player.

I set it to 0.75 speed and that is fine for me for now.

I wish there was a way to on-the-fly change the speed, but this doesn't appear possible.

I think AoE3 had this option. Weird that AoE4 has a lack of options compared to the old AoE games.
